My senior year thus far...

Hello there! I guess I'm just joining the craze that is blogging. It seems like everyone has one... mostly friends who are married, and I am most definitely far from that stage in my life.
I am in my senior year at Washington State University (Go Cougs!) studying Speech and Hearing Science. The countdown to graduation
, May 3rd, is beginning after Spring Break.
I applied to 8 different grad schools (I know, right?) to begin my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology. Here's the official list: Washington State University, Western Washington University, Portland State University, Idaho State University, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Missouri State University (Springfield), Worcester State College (Massachusetts!!) and last but not least (my mom's least favorite choice) City University of New York Brooklyn. Thus far, I have only heard back from one school (which is my #1 actually...), Minnesota State University Moorhead. I'm on the waiting list. Now all I have to do is wait until enough people decline so I can get in!
The rest of this year has been rough to say the least. I have become the definition of senioritis this semester. Studying is the last thing I want to be doing, and I'm constantly yearning for a chance to go home to visit my family (which I'll get to do this weekend!!).
I have also become the definition of single this semester as well, which has its perks as well as its drawbacks. There have been a few takers, but none good enough to keep my attention for long. I can't wait to get out of here so I can start all over in a new dating pool!!
I'm ready to begin a new stage in my life, wherever that may be! I can't wait to get out of Pullman and, hopefully, get ready to study in another state. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with this thing pretty often and update everyone on my life!!
